WHAT TO WATCH THIS WEEK 2/17-2/23

Here’s this week’s watch guide! There are a lot of heavy hitters to keep an eye out for PLUS an Oscar favorite is coming to Prime Rental!

Hi! I’m so excited to be bringing this newsletter to you all! I hope it makes your TV & movie watching life as easy as possible because consuming content is truly the only important thing in life 🥰. We’re still tweaking with the format a bit and my beloved helper Krista (hi Krista!! Thanks Krista!!) help me put together these cute graphics with all of the info! So peruse this post and tell me what you’re the most excited to see!!! I caught the new episode of The White Lotus last night and it seems promising! I already deeply hate some of the characters so we’re for sure off to a good start.

Other things to keep in mind:

-The SAG (Screen Actors Guild) awards are on Sunday and will be hosted by Kristen Bell! It will be streamed on Netflix 🎉

-this is a good week to catch up on the nominees for this year’s Oscars! A Complete Unknown, Anora, The Brutalist, Conclave, Dune Part 2, Emilia Perez, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys, The Substance, & Wicked!

-this has NOT been a good month for family friendly content unfortunately but a compile of family movies we have on rotation at our house are getting shuffled around on streaming services! Super Mario Bros is now on AMAZON PRIME instead of Netflix, Despicable Me 4 will now be on Netflix and not Peacock, and The Wild Robot will also be streamed on HBOMax later this month in addition to Peacock.
